Mike Brown didn't steal the box...just the cigars

Once again the  Pastor and self-proclaimed, "investigative journalist", Shaun King, is writing on Twitter and Daily Koz that Mike Brown put the cigars back.  Mike Brown may have put the BOX back, but took the cigars out of the box, which is clearly seen in the photos below. He also dropped many of them on the floor, which he can be seen bending over to pick up.

Michael brown swisher sweet cigars

"In an interview with msnbc shortly after the report was released, Johnson’s lawyer confirmed that Brown had taken cigars from the store.
“We see that there’s tape, that they claim they got a tape that shows there was some sort of strong-armed robbery,” said Freeman Bosley, Johnson’s attorney. “We need to see that tape, my client did tell us and told the FBI that they went into the store. He told FBI that [Brown] did take cigarillos. He told that to the DOJ and the St. Louis County Police.” [Link]
King gives a blow by blow of the video, but sugar-coats the assault.  I'm not sure what the purpose of his article was, unless to excuse the robbery as a minor infraction.  It was not minor, Michael Brown assaulted a store clerk after trying to get his "friend" to steal for him - stand up guy.  Ten minutes later we are to believe Michael Brown was innocent in assaulting a cop after being confronted.  It is ridiculous that anyone would even question whether or not what Michael Brown did was illegal, especially a Pastor who knows stealing is against the eighth of the ten commandments.

Once again, the incident report for the strong armed robbery by Michael brown:

Also, one of the points King always tries to make is Darren Wilson did not know about the robbery during his confrontation with Michael Brown and links to a video of the Chief of Police saying Wilson did not know about the robbery during the "confrontation.  The Chief said Darren Wilson did not know about the strong-arm robbery during his initial engagement with Brown and Johnson.  He never said he didn't know about the robbery during the second engagement/confrontation/assault.
4. Ferguson Police Chief Tom Jackson stated that Officer Darren Wilson was unaware of this incident during his confrontation with Mike Brown. He later came out to say that he was unsure if Darren Wilson knew or didn't know. (Daily Koz article by King)
The tendency to anger quickly over perceived disrespect seems to run in the Brown family...
Lesley mcspadden
Michael Brown and mother, Lesley McSpadden
A few days ago Michael's mother, Lesley McSpadden, was involved in an altercation with the elderly grandmother of Michael Brown.  Seems the grandmother was selling shirts with Michael Brown's name on them.  It would be hard to imagine the shirt being sold is what caused Lesley McSpadden to become angry, even though she wears shirts and bracelets with Brown's name and image on them herself...so what ticked her off to the point that an altercation broke out and her companion, a cousin of Mike Brown, put one of the shirt-sellers into the hospital?
McSpadden reportedly yelled at them, saying, “You can’t sell this s–t!,” according to one witness. One of the relatives demanded that McSpadden produce a patent. Fox 2 notes that a police report describes the incident becoming so violent that McSpadden assaulted Petty with a metal pipe or pole, resulting in a 911 call. (other articles state "a person with McSpadden assaulted Petty)
No news details have been released since the story broke but we will keep you updated.
