Classmate of Trayvon Martin Kills mother and throws a party

Mom found dead in apartment; son tells police he stabbed her to death

Kit Darrant was having a party.
As he blasted his music and laughed with friends Tuesday night, however, Darrant was hiding a dark secret.
His mother’s butchered body was decomposing in the next room.
Darrant, a 16-year-old student at Dr. Michael M. Krop Senior High School, later told investigators he killed his mother, Renette Emile, 35, because he was angry at her for scolding him about staying out late on a week night.
For eight days, police said Darrant took care of his 3-year-old brother at their apartment in the sprawling Jade Winds complexnear North Miami, coming and going.
Sure is a skinny little thng

The sixteen year old waited for his mother to go to bed and then proceeded to choke her until she passed out, but was not dead.  He retrieved a kitchen knife and stabbed her in her neck then turned her over and stabbed her in the chest.

Afterward, Darrant wiped the blood from the knife, removed his soaked clothing and went to sleep, police said.
The next morning, he cleaned up the bedroom covered the body and tried to hide the smell as the body decomposed, authorities said.
Just a little boy, only sixteen.  Hard to believe he would do something like this.  In fact:
Friends and family said Darrant had been in and out of trouble and that his mother was threatening to put him in a boot camp.“It was normal teenager stuff, like not following the rules,” said Emile, who said she spoke to her sister frequently.
Despite the mother-son conflicts, Emile said her sister never once mentioned that Darrant was violent or threatened her in any way.
He was a typical teenager, or so it APPEARED:
Silly kids always throwing gang signs!

  1. He was just a child, his mother must have been chasing him with his mashed peas and set him off. Her sister was a security guard, she probably wanted to be one too. Insane baby-mama-wanna-be-cop.

  2. "He was extremely creative," said Michelle Kypriss, Trayvon's English teacher at Dr. Michael M. Krop Senior High School in Miami. "He just loved building things. He really was intrigued by how things worked."

She described ________, a junior, as an A and B student who majored in cheerfulness.

His uncle said Trayvon was still a typical kid who loved sports, music and was just feeling the first flush of youth. "He was trying to start driving. He was just finding out about girls."
