George Zimmerman: Three Judge panel appointed


Three-judge panel named in George Zimmerman appeal


The three appeals court judges who must decide whether or not murder suspect George Zimmermandeserves a new trial judge were named today.
They include two former Orlando judges and one from Brevard.
The Orlando judges are Alan Lawson and Jay Cohen. The one from Brevard is Kerry Evander.
On Monday, defense attorney Mark O'Mara filed the appeal with the Fifth District Court of Appeal in Daytona Beach.
O'Mara filed a motion asking Judge Lester to recuse himself last month from George Zimmerman's criminal case. Lester refused.

George Zimmerman is charged with second degree murder after defending himself against an attack by 17 year old Trayvon Martin from the rough community of Miami Gardens, Florida.  His mother, Sybrina Fulton, applied for two trademarks to ensure only she would profit from his name, and during the same month, filed for a State fund set aside for victims of violent crime who can't afford medical care, etc.,.  Sybrina Fulton is also being sued by Travelers Insurance Company.
