Kendrick Johnson Death Scene Video

This is the crime scene video taken by James D. Thornton, Criminalist for the Valdosta-Lowndes Regional Crime Lab.  His report details the scene.  See more reports and other information on the Kendrick Johnson case Here.

One of the things that stood out the most for me was the amount of room in the mat. Take note around the 11:00. I did a screen-grab and lightened it. You can see the indentation on the concrete wall in the background.

  1. So which shoes was he reaching for? The ones near his feet inside the mat? Or the ones scattered around the gym? Either way, makes no sense. This video was made after the emt already took him out. So did they put him back inside the mat to take this video? ,Thanks for posting this, it just adds to all my suspicions.

  2. It wasn't made after the EMT took him out. Read the case file and then comment.

LMFAO!!! Your atrocious language skills combined with your inability to use lower-case letters really gives you away! (POW!!!!!! indeed, you loser!).
Say Hi to Rachel Jeantel when you see her --- here's hoping you both graduate from your special-needs remedial high school program before you turn 30.
And P.S.: I'd like to challenge Xena-the-bigot to actually study the facts of the KJ case....rather than just cheerleading for any race hoax and $shakedown$ she sees! Its disgusting! Xena sure knows how to use the Sharpton race hoax.....I think she's got it memorized. Hey syncofant Xena.....instead of making Kendrick some kind of saintly martyr......how about applying some critical thinking when it comes to his accidental death?!?

  5. Autopsy findings aside, I'll be convinced of accidental death once someone explains how the 2nd pair of shoes came to be securely tucked under him, if he was supposedly alone.

    1. Those shoes were stored in the rolled up mats. He was scaling the group of mats (just like the students who found him) to get to the Matt he used as a free locker. He chose to do it that way rather than move 16 x 160lb mats that take 2 to lift. He was leaning in trying to reach the black sneakers when the mat either buckled or perhaps his arm gave way , and horribly he fell in. Very probably it was when other students were playing mere feet away from him. However when tests (that can be seen on youtube) were carried out they noted that even if a mate was stood alone it couldn't be knocked over from someone trapped upside down in one. They also found that even when there is no noise you could barely hear any shouts for help even stood right next to it. Foam is a great sound deadener. 4600lbs of foam is even better. The second set of sneakers (that he was wearing) were likely kicked off (like his socks which were halfway off) in a desperate struggle to move. An utterly horrible, awful tragedy resulting in the death of a fine young lad. I know the Johnson did wrong but grief can warp the mind, it sucks that they've now got to pay $1.85mn dollars because of their grief struck behaviour.

  6. I think that the shoes could have been placed on top of the mat before he tried to get other one from which when he fell in, the movement of the mat jarred the shoes from the top of the mat falling in behind him.

  7. I personally think he was killed and wrapped up in the matt to cover the evidence.and I also believe that anyone who thinks this is an accident is just as deluded as the incompetent as the sheriffs department who first looked into it
