Thugs Rob a Woman at Gunpoint while she is in labor

Devery Kelley 24 and Cornell Robinson, 44
In yet another example of valor and courage among the African American man who is reportedly in danger of extinction, because he is being killed off in alarming numbers, or being unfairly incarcerated, comes this story.

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - March 2nd should have been one of the happiest days of this couples life, yet they end up facing their worst nightmare.  Just as his wife is going into labor and being helped into a cab, a man and his wife are robbed at gunpoint by two cowardly thugs. Who the hell robs a woman in labor?  Who??

Devery Kelley, 24, of Annapolis and Cornell Robinson, 44, of Washington, D.C. that's who.  They are now in jail at the Annapolis Police Department.
Authorities were called on Sunday around 4:30 a.m. by an eyewitness who reported seeing a man and a pregnant woman being held at gunpoint on Copeland Street in Annapolis.
The woman was going into labor before the robbery, according to CBS Baltimore. She was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center after the incident.
The station reports that one of the victims helped officers by pointing to the suspects as they fled the scene in a stolen vehicle. Police followed the vehicle and arrested both suspects when they tried to get away on foot.
A gun that had been thrown from the car was reportedly recovered by officers. [link]
Armed Robbery – 201400001035 – 1800 block of Copeland St – 03/02 at 4:30am:  Annapolis Police Department received a call from a citizen saying they saw a man and a pregnant woman being held at gunpoint in the 1800 block of Copeland St.  Officers arrived on scene and one of the victims pointed to the suspects fleeing the neighborhood in a stolen vehicle.
Officers pursued the vehicle to Tyler Ct where the driver and passenger abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot.  During the chase the suspects threw a gun from the vehicle which was recovered by officers.  A shotgun was recovered a short time later and is also believed to have been thrown from the vehicle.  After a brief foot chase both the driver and the passenger were arrested.  They were identified as Devery Kelley, 24, of Glen Burnie and Cornell Robinson, 44, of Washington D.C.  Kelley and Robinson were charged with numerous robbery and assault charges.  Kelley is being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center on $275,000 bond and Robinson is being held without bond.
The pregnant female victim was reported to be in labor prior to the robbery and was transported to Anne Arundel Medical Center.
Now I will be called a racist because of my initial paragraph in this story.  That's ok, you are entitled to your opinion...but it has nothing to do with race on my part.  It has to do with the ridiculousness of the notion that black men are being picked off and killed, or slighted at every turn and that' is why they are becoming extinct.  CLEARLY this is not true.  When two men choose to rob, by gunpoint, a defenseless, unarmed woman who is just trying to bring a new life into this world, they brought on their own demise.
