|Jackie and Kenneth (Mike) Johnson - parents of Kendrick Johnson|
(CNN)Still seeking justice in their son's death, Kendrick Johnson's parents will face the justice system themselves Monday on misdemeanor charges related to a 2013 protest, their attorney said.
Kenneth and Jacquelyn Johnson, along with five family members, each face a charge of interference with government property for allegedly blocking the entrance to the Lowndes County Courthouse in Valdosta, Georgia, and blocking access to the security checkpoint inside the building. This article reminded me of a video I came across a few months back where Jackie and Kenneth Johnson were planning these arrests with activists just prior to the protest. The full length video can be seen on Boston Rhynes' youtube channel. It is worth the watch to see how these activists operate. After Jackie Johnson is arrested, the protest leader is heard telling the onlookers how awful Lownde's County Sheriffs are for arresting the mother of a dead child.
In the clip below you hear an activist announcing the planned arrest to other agitators just prior to the protest at Lownde's County courthouse. They are gathered across the street:
"The family has decided they will be getting arrested, they will provoke some type of arrest today in that courthouse. "
Like every other aspect of this case, the parents stage situations, manipulate authorities, and fabricate scenarios. They demand that everyone else deem the death of their 17 year old son, Kendrick Johnson, a murder, but due to the overwhelming amount of evidence to the contrary, this case will never be about murder. Kendrick Johnson tried to retrieve a shoe from a gym mat that was upright and stacked behind twenty other gym mats when he became stuck, unable to right himself and crawl back out. He died, upside down in the mat, of positional asphyxia.
