Christi O'Connor of George Zimmerman Fame, arrested for assault

Back in September, 2013, I wrote a couple of articles about Christi O'Connor, the journalist who scored an interview with Shellie Zimmerman.  Christi claims to have blown into town during the George Zimmerman trial and was planning to write a book.  She never wrote the book, but maybe she needed a laptop to do so:

A Family Life Center client, Christi Louise O’Connor, 54, was arrested early Sunday by Bunnell police officers called to investigate the fracas.
She was charged with both battery and battery on a pregnant woman.
She also made a racial slur at the employee and struck her with a martial arts type blow.
Witnesses said O’Connor tried to pack a laptop computer belonging to the shelter in with her belongings.  O’Connor was booked into the Flagler County Detention Facility and was being held Sunday night on $2,000 bail. [Link]
