The ADC and CAIR are raising money for Palestinian activist Bassem Masri

Bassem Masri was arrested, once again, for thumbing his nose at the Ferguson, Missouri legal system.  He had warrants for driving on a suspended license and was arrested while protesting.  His bail this time?  $15,000 cash bond.  To raise bail money, a Gofundme account was started for Masri - as of one second ago, the amount raised: $8,913.

That's a lot of money, and at first I found it highly doubtful that the agitators involved in the Michael Brown protests could raise the funds.  Then I saw this tweet today, which explains where the funds to #FreeBassem are being raised, The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee and CAIR, among others...

Abed A. Ayoub is Legal & Policy Director of ADC.  From an article dated 2009 referencing ADC and CAIR:
“Killing civilians is a war crime. It’s a violation of international law. They are not soldiers. They’re civilians, they’re unarmed,” Khalidi said in a recorded address. “The ones who are armed, the ones who are soldiers, the ones who are in occupation, that’s different. That’s resistance.”
The ADC also has collaborated on numerous projects with the Arab American Action Network, or AAAN, an organization founded by Khalidi’s wife Mona, and which WND first reported received start-up funds from a nonprofit, the Woods Fund, on which Obama served as a paid director. [link]
Then there's this:
In a conference call organized by CAIR-linked “Muslims for Ferguson, a CAIR official called Abdullah a “Shaheed,” or martyr, and said both he and Brown were victims of a national security apparatus that had “completely gone wild” and engaged in “demonizing and criminalizing Muslims.”
“The reality is that this country, in law enforcement, be it local, state or federal law enforcement, people with guns have always seen black men and black people as threats,” Dawud Walid (emphasis mine), executive director of CAIR’s Michigan Chapter, told the some 100 protest organizers on the call, made on the five-year anniversary of Abdullah’s death and which was monitored by CSP.
“They’re interested in building coalitions with other organizations in order to effect a legislative change to weaken anti-terrorism laws and weaken the ability of law enforcement to engage in counterterrorism,” said Shideler. “And they’re trying to bring other people into their efforts so it doesn’t look like it is just a Muslim effort.” [link]
In the tweet below, you can see that Abed Ayoub included Dawud Walid in his tweet to elicit funds to free Bassem Masri.  I've always said that Masri is getting his sense of power from somewhere other than the local protesters in Ferguson.
Who else in Ferguson represents their cause?

The usual fabricated tweets misstating facts started almost immediately after Masri's arrest:

Nope, RedSheepdog, you nailed it!
In case you missed it: The ever annoying Masri singing "Pigs in a blanket, fry 'em like bacon".
Shortly thereafter, as you will see in this video, Masri was arrested (a different arrest in early October).
